What is the Pastoral Internship? The internship is our endeavor to fulfill the command of 2 Timothy 2:2—what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also. It is our effort to intentionally equip young men who feel called to some form of pastoral ministry by giving them hands-on ministry experience in a local church context. We desire to pray for, equip, and send out—by God's grace—"laborers for the harvest" (Matt 9:38).

This training is coupled with seminary course-work through the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary's (SBTS) Ministry Apprenticeship Program (MAP).
